About Chief's room
The Chief's House is located at No. 8-10 Jinjiajing Lane, Cicheng Town, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is the former residence of Feng Shuji, the Huguang Chief Envoy of the Ming Dynasty. It is a representative residential building in the early Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and an integral part of the Cicheng Ancient Building Group. In June 2006, it was announced as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The building as a whole faces north and faces south. It was historically large in scale, with a total area of about 30,000 square meters and a construction area of about 9,200 square meters. There are currently three halls in the east, middle and west, with a total of nine rooms and two lanes, a hard mountain-style main building. There are also three "Jigaotang" and some side rooms at the east end.
