About Jia Di family
The first family is located in Jinjiajing Lane, a quaint and deep place in Cicheng Town. Jiadi Family is another name for Qian's house. It is the old residence of the Qian family in Cicheng and was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566). The owner, Qian Zhao, passed the imperial examination in the seventh year of Jiajing, became a Jinshi in the eleventh year (1532), and became an official. His son Qian Weiyuan was the most filial piety to his grandfather. Sun Qianwen recommended Jinshi in the 35th year of Ming Dynasty and was awarded the new field order. Because several members of the family named Qian ascended the throne, it was called "Jiadi Family". The original Taimen plaque was inscribed by Wen Zhengming, but was later destroyed.
