About Yaokui Tower
Yaokui Pagoda, commonly known as Wangjiang White Pagoda, is an ancient pagoda located in the Kuizhou Museum Park, Yufu Community, Kuimen Street, Fengjie County, Chongqing, China. The pagoda was built in the 23rd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1818). Yang Shiying, the governor of Kuizhou County, donated money and Wang Ruguan, the magistrate of Fengjie County, presided over the construction to cultivate Feng Shui, hence the name "Yaokui". The tower is a seven-story hexagonal pavilion-style brick tower with a height of 26 meters. There is a copper orb pavilion on the top of the tower. There is an arched pagoda door on the south side of the first floor. The door frame is engraved with the couplet "Ten thousand feet of inscriptions surround the six cities, and thousands of auspiciousness overflows the three bar".
