Former Residence of Chiang Kai-shek is located at No. 77, Wuling West Road, Xikou Town, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is the former residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Ching-kuo. The former residence of Chiang Kai-shek includes buildings such as Yutai Salt Shop, Fenghao House, Xiaoyang House, Leting (formerly known as Wenchang Pavilion), Miaogao Terrace and Ci'an. The corridors, walls and capitals of Fenghao House are covered with colorful carvings and paintings, all of which are based on "The Romance of the Gods", "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "The Complete Biography of Yue Yue" and the myth of the Eight Immortals crossing the sea. The characters and artistic conception are all lifelike, which not only reflects the wish of the owner of the house to pray for good luck, but also reflects the superb craftsmanship of Chinese folk artists.
