About Raoping Museum
Raoping County Museum is located on the 5th floor of Xiaoyuan Cultural Center Building, Huanggang Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. It has a construction area of 1,500 square meters and an exhibition hall area of about 410 square meters. It is a state-owned comprehensive museum. In October 1983, the Raoping County Museum was established. In January 2003, the museum moved from the Shicheng Temple in Huanggang Town to its current location. Currently, it has been approved to employ 4 people to be responsible for the collection, storage, and exhibition of cultural relics in the county, as well as the excavation and protection of immovable cultural relics. On May 18, 2020, the Raoping County Museum officially opened to the public.
