About Lingnan Dialect Culture Museum
The Lingnan Dialect Culture Museum is located in the south area on the 5th floor of Foshan Library, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is the first provincial-level physical language museum in the country, covering an area of approximately 1,400 square meters. The design was approved by the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Committee. The museum opened on September 10, 2021, and was jointly built by Guangdong Radio and Television, the Propaganda Department of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee, and the Foshan Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau. On September 5, 2017, Guangdong Radio and Television Station signed an agreement with the Propaganda Department of the Foshan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China to jointly build the museum.
