About Shunde Museum
Foshan Shunde District Museum is located in the Xishan Temple at the foot of Xishan Mountain, Daliang Street, the administrative, cultural and commercial center of Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of 32,500 square meters, with a total construction area of 27,000 square meters and an exhibition area of approximately 9,084 square meters. It is affiliated to the Shunde District Party Committee Propaganda Department (Shunde District Culture and Sports Bureau) and is a local comprehensive museum. In 1980, Foshan Shunde District Museum was established. Foshan Shunde District Museum preserves and promotes Shunde's unique local culture by collecting and displaying local cultural relics, ancient buildings, historical materials, artworks and other cultural heritage.
