About Foshan Ancient Town Historical Style Exhibition Hall

Foshan Ancient Town Historical Style Exhibition Hall covers an area of about 2,300 square meters, with a total construction area of about 11,000 square meters. It is adjacent to Foshan Liangyuan and Shi'anli ancient residential complexes. The museum is one of the Liangyuan and surrounding environment renovation and improvement projects launched in 2016. It will be officially open to the public free of charge on January 25, 2021. Based on the historical development of Foshan's ancient town, the museum has six thematic exhibition halls including metallurgy, traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts, folk culture, commercial culture, and ceramic treasures. It is also equipped with a temporary exhibition hall and a multimedia lecture hall to comprehensively display Foshan's history, culture and intangible cultural heritage features in a multimedia interactive form.
