About Huangshan City Museum
Anhui China Huizhou Culture Museum is located at No. 50 Airport Yingbin Avenue, Tunxi District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It evolved from the Huangshan Municipal Museum. The new museum was officially opened on January 8, 2008, and was fully open to the public free of charge in the same year. The museum is the second largest comprehensive museum in Anhui Province. It is the only museum in China that can fully reflect the theme of Huizhou culture. It is a national first-class museum and receives more than 500,000 Chinese and foreign visitors every year. As of the end of 2022, the museum has a collection of 97,491 pieces/set, 4,086 precious cultural relics/set, and a total of 345,271 annual visitors. The "Wenfu ink" unearthed from the tomb of the Song Dynasty is the earliest Hui ink discovered in China.
