About Chinese Sculpture Museum
The Chinese Sculpture Museum is located in the Wengcheng of the North City Wall of Datong City. It was built on January 12, 2013. It is a professional theme museum in China. The name of the museum was inscribed by Qian Shaowu. Opening hours are 9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday. The museum has a building area of 32,000 square meters, an exhibition area of 26,000 square meters, and an exhibition line of 2,100 meters. The museum has a collection of more than 2,000 works. In December 2020, it was selected into the fourth batch of national second-level museums. The museum holds the "Zeng Zhushao Sculpture Art Scholarship Graduates Exhibition" every year, and also hosts national-level exhibitions such as the "China Youth Sculpture Exhibition" and the "China Datong International Sculpture Biennale". The museum maintains cooperation with institutions such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
