The "May 4th Constitution" Historical Materials Exhibition Hall is located in Hangzhou. It is a memorial venue where the first constitution of New China (1954 Constitution) was drafted. It was officially opened on December 4, 2016, National Constitution Day. The museum is divided into two areas, Beishan Street and Qixialing. Through restored scenes, cultural relic displays and themed exhibitions, the drafting process of the May 4th Constitution and the spirit of the Constitution are systematically displayed. As of October 2024, the museum has received a total of 2.4 million visitors, and has been awarded 8 national honors, including the National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base and the National Rule of Law Publicity and Education Base.
