About Yongcao Railway Ningbo Station Memorial Hall
The Ningbo Station Memorial Hall of the Ningbo-Cao Railway is located southeast of the intersection of Daqing South Road and Xinma Road in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City. It is a five-bay, two-story brick house with the characteristics of the Republic of China that was rebuilt as it was. On August 22, 2016, the opening ceremony of the Ningbo-Cao Railway Ningbo Station Memorial Hall and the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s inspection in Ningbo were held. The original site of the museum was the Ningbo Station of the Yongcao Railway, the first railway station in Ningbo's history, which was completed and opened to traffic in 1914. It was the starting point of the first transportation artery in eastern Zhejiang. On August 22, 1916, Dr. Sun Yat-sen got off the train at this station to inspect Ningbo.
