About Ningbo Opera Art Museum

The Ningbo Opera Art Museum is located at No. 11, Chengdong Yard, Beidong'an Road, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The building was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It was announced as a district-level cultural relics protection site in 1996 and upgraded to a district-level cultural relics protection unit in 2010. The museum was officially opened on June 18, 2019. It is the city’s first public welfare exhibition, inheritance and research base for Ningbo opera. There are three exhibition halls in the museum, which systematically present the development history of Yong Opera, scripts and scores, costumes, musical instruments and other objects.
