About Hangzhou Museum

Hangzhou Museum (Hangzhou Museum (under preparation)), located at No. 18 Liangdaoshan, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a comprehensive city museum that collects, protects, researches, and displays Hangzhou's cultural heritage. The Hangzhou Museum was formerly known as the "Hangzhou History Museum" which was completed and opened in October 2001. At the end of 2011, the Hangzhou History Museum was renamed Hangzhou Museum. Hangzhou Museum is divided into South and North museums. The North Pavilion is "Collection of Hangzhou - Exhibition of fine collections of cultural relics", which consists of five themes: treasures of treasures, brilliance of craftsmanship, calligraphy and painting, leisurely elegance, and space; the South Pavilion is "Hangzhou is the most remembered - Exhibition of Hangzhou's history and culture".
