About China Knives & Scissors & Swords Museum
The Chinese Knife and Scissors Museum is a national-level thematic museum located west of Gongchen Bridge on the Canal in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was renovated from the Qiaoxi Specialty Warehouse (provincial-level cultural relics) and was funded by the Hangzhou Municipal Government. Its positioning is mainly to promote and carry forward China's long-standing skills of knives, scissors, umbrellas, and fans, to discover and protect traditional handicrafts, and to take into account both display and collection.
