About Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall

The Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall is located at No. 8 Shandan Street, Sujiatun District, Shenyang City. It was officially opened on October 18, 2010. It is the ‘National Railway Patriotism Education Base’ and the ‘Liaoning Province Patriotism Education Base’. In March 2022, it was recognized as one of the first batch of ‘National Science Popularization Education Bases’. The predecessor of the Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall was the Shenyang Railway Steam Locomotive Exhibition Hall, which was built in 1984. In March 2005, the Shenyang Steam Locomotive Museum moved from the Qipanshan Botanical Garden to the Forest Park in Tiexi District, Shenyang City. In 2010, the exhibition hall was moved again to its current location.
