About Fire Temple

The Fire Temple is located in the east of West Gaodu Village, Gaodu Street, Luozhuang District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Archaeological dating of its ruins shows that the main building dates from the Tang and Song dynasties. After being renovated in 2010 under the leadership of Taoist Master Sun Gaode, it became the first officially registered Taoist activity venue in Luozhuang District. In December 2011, it was announced as the third batch of municipal cultural relics protection units by the Linyi Municipal People's Government, with a cultural relic protection area of 4846 square meters. In the village development plan, the temple is positioned as a core cultural resource and will combine agriculture and cultural tourism industries to promote regional integrated development.
