About Jinshang Museum
Shanxi Merchants Museum, a national AAA tourist attraction, is located at No. 101 Fudong Street, Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. It covers an area of about 100,000 square meters, a construction area of about 30,000 square meters, and an exhibition area of about 18,000 square meters. It is a local humanities and history museum based on the former site of Shanxi Governor's Mansion that integrates cultural relics and ancient buildings, garden landscapes, and exhibitions. Shanxi Merchants Museum was once the seat of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. In September 2017, the Shanxi Provincial Government moved and was rebuilt into the "Shanxi Merchants Museum". At 11:00 on December 28, 2020, the Shanxi Merchants Museum was put into trial operation.
