About China Philatelist Museum

The Chinese Philatelist Museum is located on the east side of the World Heritage Yucheng Station in Gaoyou City. It is the first museum in the country with the theme of philatelists. The museum was officially opened on October 28, 2017 during the 8th China Post Culture Festival. The museum covers an area of 3,000 square meters, with a construction area of 1,460 square meters. It has eight parts including the preface hall, the brief history of philately hall, the early philatelist hall, the stamp collection exhibition hall, and the treasures exhibition hall. The museum houses more than 10,000 precious philatelic products and philatelic tools, aiming to showcase China's philatelic history of more than a hundred years through the philatelist's philatelic career. Since its opening, the museum has become an important place for the display and education of philatelic culture.
