The Slender West Lake Scenic Area in Yangzhou City, often referred to as the Slender West Lake Scenic Area, is a tourist attraction located within the jurisdiction of Hanjiang District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The scenic area covers a total area of 168 hectares, with 132 hectares of land and 36 hectares of water. The Slender West Lake Scenic Area is a sub-area and the core, most exquisite section of the national key scenic area “Yangzhou Shugang–Slender West Lake Scenic Area.” With a total length of 4.3 kilometers, Slender West Lake is a belt-shaped landscape formed by city moats from different eras—Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing—and has consistently maintained an interactive relationship with the Grand Canal, ensuring a continuous water supply.
