About Liuqingxia Former Residence

Liu Qingxia's former residence is located in Liujia Hutong, Beitu Street, Shunhe Hui District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and in the center of Weishi County. It is the place where Liu Qingxia, the "heroine of 1911", once lived. Liu Qingxia's former residence consists of the Liu Family House located in Liujia Hutong, Kaifeng City, Shigutang (East Courtyard) and Liu Family West Courtyard in the center of Weishi County. The Liu family residence covers an area of more than 6,000 square meters and faces south. The layout and architectural form of the east and west residences are exactly the same, each consisting of three courtyards in the front, middle and back. There are more than 70 rooms in the east and west courtyards with architectural styles from the late Qing Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty. There is also a south side courtyard on the south side of the alley.
