About China Hanyuan Garden
China Han Garden Stele Forest is located on the western shore of Longting Lake, a picturesque scenic spot in Kaifeng, the ancient capital of eight dynasties. Covering an area of 120 mu, it was built by Mr. Li Gongtao, a contemporary “cultural Yu Gong,” who raised funds independently and led his entire family, with support from all sectors of society, to create a cultural garden that combines calligraphy art with stone inscriptions and mountainous landscape gardens. In 2009, it was named “Famous Calligraphy Garden of China” by the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
