About Fu Shan Memorial Hall
Fu Shan Memorial Hall is located on the southwest side of Shengying Building of Jinci Museum in Taiyuan City. It was originally the Tongle Pavilion built in the second year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1737). It is a Qing Dynasty courtyard building facing south to north, covering an area of 553.5 square meters, including five couplets in the south room and three east and west auxiliary rooms. After expansion in 1964, it was renamed "Shanxi Painting and Calligraphy Museum of Past Dynasties". Guo Moruo inscribed the name of the museum. It was restarted in 1989 and officially opened in 1990. The museum has three themed exhibitions on Fu Shan's life, academic achievements and research history.
