About Iron Fort
The Iron Fort is located on the west side of Renai Village, Nangan Township, Lianjiang County (Matsu), Taiwan, under the seaside driveway leading to Jinsha. The terrain is very dangerous. The Iron Fort was originally an independent rock protruding from the sea. The Taiwanese army established a stronghold here. Due to strategic needs, the rock was excavated to make it hollow and then covered with cement. The only wolfdog with military rank in Matsu was stationed here. Later, when the army left, the county government repaired the trails and guardrails and opened them to the public, allowing tourists to experience the tense atmosphere of the maritime battlefield!
