About hook hole
Hook Hole (English name: Hook Hole) is located 5 kilometers east of Beiliu City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, next to the Yuwu Highway of National Highway 324, under the main peak of Goulu Mountain, and to the south by the Gui River. It is a provincial scenic spot and a national AAAA tourist attraction. It covers an area of 204 hectares, with karst caves as the main landscape. In November 2022, it was rated as a national 4A tourist attraction. The scenic spot consists of four caves: Baogui, Yuque, Baisha and Taoyuan, with a total length of about 1 kilometer. The Moon Lake in front of the cave is sparkling, the surrounding mountain flowers are shining, and the stalactites in the cave are in various shapes. It is listed as one of the "Twenty-Two Caves" by Taoism. Ge Hong of the Eastern Jin Dynasty once practiced alchemy here and practiced Taoism.
