About Heshui Rock Drinking Water Rock

Drinking Water Rock, also known as Lingyuan Cave, is located in Gushan Tourist Area, Gushan Town, Jin'an District, Fuzhou City. The landform consists of a split stream about 3 meters wide and 10 meters deep. The cliff next to the stream has an arch inscribed "Lingyuan Deep". Geological research shows that this is a crustal fault zone and undercurrents are active at the bottom of the stream. This landform was formed by the orogeny hundreds of millions of years ago. The shady valley is adjacent to Yongquan Temple. There are more than 200 sections of cliff stone carvings in Lingyuan Cave from the Song Dynasty to the Republic of China, accounting for nearly half of the total stone carvings in Gushan, covering seal, Li, Kai, Xing and Cao.
