About Fish Road Ancient Road
The Fish Road Ancient Trail is a historical trail located in Yangmingshan National Park in Taiwan, with a total length of about 30 kilometers, starting from the Shanggang Fishing Village in Jinshan District and ending in Shilin, Taipei City. This ancient road was built in the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1903). It was originally a passage for fishermen from Jinbaoli (Jinshan Mountain Township) to transport their catch to Taipei, so it was called "Fish Road". It is also known as "Jinbaoli Road" among the people. The relatively complete existing section of the ancient road is from Dingbayan to the back of Shanzai. It is divided into two sections, Henan Yong Road and Riren Road. It is divided into north and south roads with Qingtiangang as the boundary. Along the way, there are silk waterfalls, Xuyan Bridge and other scenic spots and Qing Dynasty relics.
