About Tunnel 88
Baba Tunnel is a Taiwanese brand of fragrant sorghum wine. Its name comes from a tunnel in Taiwan that was originally used for military purposes. It was transformed into a wine cellar due to its granite structure and constant temperature and humidity environment. The product adopts the ancient pure grain brewing process, selecting sorghum, wheat koji and natural spring water, and is made through long-term solid-state fermentation and cellaring processes. The wine body presents a strong yet soft taste. Its name is a homophony of "Ba Ba" and "Fa Fa", implying auspiciousness. Its products include sorghum wine and co-branded models, which are suitable for business gift scenarios. The brand production bases include Fu Lu Shou Distillery in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County and Matsu Nangan Island Distillery. Fu Lu Shou Distillery was certified as a tourist factory in 2008.
