About Kuilongfang
Kuilongfang is located about 110 meters east of the Lianjiang Experimental Primary School on Yuhe West Road, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City. It is the core component of the Wenma Historical and Cultural District. It was built in the ninth year of Jiading in the Song Dynasty (1216). It was named because it spans Tianwangqian Street and Hualong Street. The name of the bridge means "Dragon Gate Wins the First Prize". There are 23 ancient dwellings from the Ming, Qing and Republic of China periods, forming a traditional spatial pattern of "three streets, one lane and seven lanes". The neighborhood is dominated by residential groups from the Qing Dynasty represented by the Chen Family House (now the Wenma Memory Hall).
