About China Shipping Culture Park
China Shipping Culture Park is a shipping culture theme park located at No. 83 Gangkang Road, Mawei District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It was formerly known as Fujian Shipbuilding founded in 1866. There are existing architectural remains in the park that were built in 1866 such as the engine workshop, the Painting Institute, the Guanting Pond, the Bell Tower, and the No. 1 Dock. In January 2023, the renovated park will be officially opened to the public, and will be built into a "big museum" integrating exhibitions, creative experiences, and cultural tourism around shipping culture, military culture, and marine culture. The China Shipping Culture Museum in the park has a collection of more than 1,000 cultural relics, including 3 national first-class cultural relics.
