About Wang's Garden
Wang's Xiaoyuan is located at No. 14, Diguan No. 14, Dongshou District, Dongquanmen Historical Street, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is an architectural relic from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. Wang's Xiaoyuan covers an area of more than 3,000 square meters, with nearly 100 old houses remaining, and a construction area of more than 1,580 square meters. It is one of the most complete salt merchant residences in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China among the large residences in Yangzhou. The layout of the house is regular: the house is arranged in three parallel ways horizontally, and the main house extends vertically into three directions. The front and rear central axes run through it, and the left and right sides are symmetrical, embodying the Confucian idea of the golden mean.
