About Xiaopangu
Xiaopangu is located in Dashu Lane, Dingjiawan, Guangling District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. In the 30th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1904), Zhou Fu, the governor of Liangjiang, purchased and renovated the private residence of Xu. Xiaopangu is a residential garden covering an area of about 3.95 acres. The whole building is divided into three parts. The west is a bungalow residential area, the middle is a hall, the right of the hall is a fire alley, and the east of the alley is the garden. Xiaopangu is unique among Yangzhou gardens. Compared with Geyuan and Heyuan, Xiaopangu occupies a small area and has not many buildings and rocks. However, the beauty is that it is concentrated and compact, with less conquering many and small seeing big. The core of the whole garden's landscape is the mountains and rivers intertwined with each other.
