About Fanlou Building
Alum Tower, formerly known as Bai Alum Tower and later renamed Fengle Tower (or Fan Tower), is located at the northern end of Songdu Yu Street in Kaifeng (No. 40, Songdu Yu Street, Longting District, Kaifeng City). It is a courtyard-style imitation Song Dynasty building complex that was rebuilt based on historical data in 1989. It is now a Song Dynasty-style courtyard building complex that mainly displays the culture of the Song Dynasty. It has a construction area of 5,000 square meters and consists of five three-story pavilions in the east, west, south, north and middle. It adopts a gable-style roof and a flying bridge corridor design, and contains 98 wing angles. Its name comes from the alum trade in the Northern Song Dynasty. It was originally the first of the seventy-two restaurants in Tokyo. In the fifth year of Tiansheng (1027), it became the official liquor wholesaler.
