About Xuanquan Temple
Xuanquan Temple, also known as Yande Temple, is located in the south of Gushan Village, Shijiahe Township, Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province. It was built before the Yuan Dynasty. In the late Republic of China, the temple gradually fell into disrepair and all the original temple buildings were gone. Now only the temple gate and part of the courtyard wall remain. The temple is built on a platform in front of the cliff and is about 30 meters long and wide. The cliff behind the courtyard is 100 meters long from east to west and more than 20 meters high. There is a hanging spring under the stone wall at the west end of the cliff. Outside the wall of the west courtyard, there are acres of bamboo forest, lush and green. There is a pine tree outside the gate of the south temple of the courtyard, and a persimmon grows on the root of the pine tree.
