About Karakax Old Town
Moyu Old Town Scenic Area is located in Kuona Xiehaier Community (also known as the Old City Community), Qinaibage Street, Moyu County, Xinjiang. It is 34 kilometers away from Kungang Airport, 5.3 kilometers away from Moyu Railway Station, and 1 kilometer away from National Highway 315. It was rated as a national 3A tourist attraction in July 2020, and was selected as a national 4A tourist attraction in November of the same year. The scenic area retains the traditional Uyghur residential buildings, and the central block displays handicrafts such as Adelais silk, small flower hats, and wood carvings. Brak Night Market offers local delicacies such as "Three Eggs and One Star", watermelon barbecue, and red willow barbecue, accompanied by ethnic song and dance performances.
