About Museum of Foochow Arsenal 1
The China Shipbuilding Culture Museum is a special museum with the theme of promoting shipbuilding culture. It was established in 1997 and was originally called the Modern Chinese Navy Museum. In 2004, it was renamed the China Shipbuilding Culture Museum after a comprehensive revision. It was opened to the public free of charge in 2010. As of 2021, the main building area of the China Shipping Culture Museum is 4,100 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 2,600 square meters; there are a total of 1,280 collections (sets) and 460 precious cultural relics (sets). The China Shipbuilding Culture Museum is a national second-level museum.
