About Rouyuanyi
Rouyuan Station, the full name of "Tribute Factory Rouyuan Station", also known as Ryukyu Hall among the people, is located at No. 21 Guanhou Street, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. In 1996, it was listed as the fourth batch of Fujian Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units. The post was first built in the eighth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1472) and rebuilt in the sixth year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1667). The existing building was partially restored to the original site. It covers an area of about 600 square meters and faces south. It is a double-story building with a bucket-style fir structure. After restoration in 1992, it was turned into the Fuzhou Museum of the History of Foreign Relations. In the Ming Dynasty, Rouyuan Posthouse included buildings such as the front hall, the back hall, Tianfei Palace, and the tribute factory.
