About Kaifeng Art Museum

The Kaifeng Art Museum was established based on the Shanshan-Gan guild hall. It is located at No. 85 Xufu Street, Longting District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It was planned to be built in April 1995. The museum is located at the Guandi Temple complex of the Shan-Shaan-Gan guild hall in the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 3,629.58 square meters. The building complex contains the cultural relics of Qing Dynasty merchant gangs such as screen walls, theater buildings, and main halls. It features wood carvings, stone carvings, and brick carving arts. It houses the "Kaifeng Cultural Relics Exhibition" and the "Qingming River Scene" large-scale wood carving model exhibition. The latter is a three-dimensional representation of a Song Dynasty painting scroll up to 936 cm. Shanxi-Gan Guild Hall was built in the 41st year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1776).
