About Zhu Ziqing Former Residence
Zhu Ziqing's former residence is located at No. 27 Anle Lane, Guangling District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in the Qing Dynasty and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The building adopts the traditional triple courtyard shape and covers an area of about 700 square meters. It includes structures such as a foyer, wing rooms, and patios. Qing Dynasty residential elements such as blue brick paving and carved screen doors are well preserved. The former residence was listed as a municipal cultural preservation unit in 1982, promoted to a national cultural preservation unit in 2006, and has been open to the public free of charge since 2016. The former residence completely retains the original appearance of Zhu Ziqing's life. His bookcases, pipes and other relics from his lifetime are displayed in the study and bedrooms.
