About Taiyuan Jin Shang Museum
The Shanxi Merchant Museum is located on the southeast side of Yingze Park in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. It is my country's first large-scale museum that displays Shanxi merchant culture in a three-dimensional manner, covering a total area of 7,850 square meters. The museum building draws on the essence of the traditional architecture of Shanxi merchant guild halls across the country, and adopts brick carving, stone carving, wood carving and other techniques with Shanxi characteristics to become a boutique guild hall building with unique humanistic connotation, commercial culture and architectural art charm. The museum mainly displays the history of Shanxi merchants and the commercial culture created by Shanxi merchants.
