About Huzhou City Museum
Huzhou Museum is located in Renhuangshan New District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive museum integrating collection, research and display. The old Huzhou Museum was completed and opened to the public in 1962, and the new museum was opened to the public in 2006. The museum has a construction area of 10,274 square meters and an exhibition area of 4,000 square meters. As of February 2020, the Huzhou Municipal Museum has three basic exhibitions: "Wuxing Fu - Huzhou History and Humanities Series", "Knife and Wood Life - Zhao Yannian Art Exhibition", and "Things I Forgot: Zhao Family Memorial Hall and Ming and Qing Classical Furniture Exhibition". As of 2022, the collection has 11,348 pieces/set of cultural relics and 1,487 pieces/set of precious cultural relics.
