About Suzhou Linwu Cave Scenic Area
Suzhou Linwu Cave Scenic Area is located at No. 158, Linwu Road, Jinting Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is located at the foot of Linwu Mountain in the east of Taihu Xishan Island and is connected to the land via the Taihu Bridge. As the Taoist "Ninth Cave in the World", the scenic spot features a natural cave. The cave is made of Taihu stones to form a labyrinth-like structure, forming karst landscapes such as the Crystal Palace and the Yaochi Wonderland. The temperature in the cave is maintained at about 20°C all year round, which is of great summer value. Outside the scenic area, there is a contiguous plum garden with an area of more than 4,200 acres. The Plum Blossom Festival is held here every February to March. Xu Xiake, a traveler in the Ming Dynasty, once listed this place as his first tourist destination.
