About Huzhou Chaoyin Bridge
Huzhou Chaoyin Bridge, commonly known as Yazi Bridge, also known as Qiaoli Bridge, is located on the south side of South Street, Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, crossing Dongtiao River (city river) from east to west. In the 18th year of Jiajing's reign in the Ming Dynasty (1539), the prefect Wei Gongji withdrew the ferry and built a bridge. There are still bridge pavilions at the east and west ends, but they were later abandoned. Huzhou Chaoyin Bridge is a three-hole stone arch bridge with a length of 54.2 meters. The total span of the three holes is 29 meters, 5 meters wide and 7 meters high. There are bridge pavilions at the east and west ends. The bridge deck is slightly curved. The railings on both sides are made of stone and can be used for pedestrians to rest.
