About Shantou Science Museum
Shantou Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 12 Haibin Road, Jinping District, Shantou City. The project was established in 1994 and construction started in December of the same year. It was completed and put into use on November 18, 1997, with an exhibition and education area of 12,000 square meters. There are permanent exhibition halls such as a special exhibition hall on the history of Shantou's science and technology development, an exhibition hall on the style of Chinese scientists (a special topic on Chaozhou scientists), and a scientific exploration park. It is also equipped with facilities such as a public first aid training hall and a popular science reading room. The opening hours are 9:00-11:30 am and 14:30-17:00 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. No reservation is required for admission.
