About Queshi Scenic Area (Pagoda Mountain Area)
Queshi Scenic Area is located on the south bank of Queshi Sea in Haojiang District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, across the sea from the old city of Shantou. It is located at the confluence of Hanjiang, Rongjiang and Lianjiang rivers (23 degrees 20 minutes north latitude, 116 degrees 40 minutes east longitude). It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction with a total area of 13.47 square kilometers. In 1989, it was rated as the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots in Guangdong Province. The ticket-free policy was implemented on January 1, 2020. In 2021, it passed the quality level review of Guangdong Province's 4A-level tourist attractions. It is now the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions in Chaoshan area, and is known as "the first of the eight scenic spots in Shantou".
