About Two Tortoises Rock
Ergui Tingfa Stone is a natural landscape located on the west side of Pantuo Stone in the Xitian Scenic Area of Putuo Mountain, Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. You can enter the Xitian Scenic Area by walking left along the coast from the passenger terminal for about 20 minutes. This landscape is located on the cliff at the lower end of the Fifty-Three Celestials Stone. It consists of two rocks that resemble turtles. The unique landform has been formed by long-term weathering and erosion. One turtle is squatting on the top of the cliff, looking back and looking forward, while the other turtle is climbing along the stone, showing its eager attitude with its head held high. The shape is vivid and expressive. The rocks here have been exposed to the surface and have been weathered and eroded for a long time.
