About Mount Chaoyang
The Xintai Chaoyang Cave Scenic Area is located in Panchagou Village, Wenan Town, Xintai City, Shandong Province, 20 kilometers from the city center. It is situated adjacent to the historic and cultural city of Qufu and Zoucheng, and close to the World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site of Mount Tai and the Red Revolutionary Tourism Destination of Menglianggu. Covering an area of over 1,000 mu, it is a national 3A-level tourist attraction with a main peak at an elevation of 550 meters. The scenic area takes limestone karst caves as its core feature; the total length of the discovered caves exceeds 3,000 meters, with an average height of 5 meters. The main cave stretches approximately 400 meters east–west and 80 meters north–south.
