About Zhujiajian Nansha
Zhujiajian Nansha is located on Zhujiajian Island, Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is the core area of Zhujiajian National Scenic Area. The scenic spot is famous for its "Blue Sea and Golden Sands". It has a fine sand beach about 1,000 meters long and 250 meters wide. The sand quality is pure and meets the international high-quality beach standards. The beach extends into the sea with a gentle slope. The sand particle size is 0.05-0.3 mm. It has been certified by the International Sand Sculpture Organization as high-quality sand suitable for sand sculpture creation. The scenic spot will be rated as a national 4A tourist attraction in 2023. As the birthplace of China's sand sculptures, the first China Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival has been held in 1999 and has been held for many consecutive years.
