About Xianren Well

The Immortal Well is located in front of the gate of Miaofeng Temple in Gaogai Mountain, Fuzhou. It was excavated in the eighth year of Song Jiayou's reign (1063). The well is rich in legends. It is said that Xu Shuixian, the snail girl, cast herself into the well and became an immortal.
